Blackbird

My blackbird is a truck.

It is employed by Sainsbury's.

Its singing is composed by brakes and buzz

And a whooshing sound that I cannot (as yet) define.

It does not sing in the dead of night

If it were so I'd probably be too dead to notice

It prefers the early hours of the morning

The no-man's-land of dawn,

Make it a couple of minutes before that.
